Windows Server 2008R2 and Hyper V
« on: August 02, 2012, 10:09:46 am »
I want to set up Flexraid with Hyper-V virtual drives, using exchange 2010 as a VHD etc,
What are the Pros and Cons with Realtime vs Snapshot while working with VHD files?
For example, using snapshot, will the VHDs be backed up as they will be "in use" all the time.
Thanks

FlexRAID is all about UoR (Unit of Risk).
So, just make sure that things you are protecting make sense.
Basically, don't have all your VHDs on a single physical drive and think you are protected.
