IBM ServeRAID M1015 vs AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 ???
« on: November 28, 2012, 10:46:57 am »
Hi all,

I have been trying to get AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 - But it's out of stock and $150 most places.

Considering IBM card instead for $80 and flashing it into pure HBA card.

Thoughts?

It depends on the hard drive size you want to use?

I do not think the M1015 is compatible with drives over 2TB, the AOC can handle at least 3TB's with the firmware 3.1.0.21 and windows driver 4.0.0.1200
