Auto Folder Priority
« on: October 29, 2011, 08:49:14 am »
Is it normal for Auto Folder Priority to make duplicate folders on all the drives? If I make a folder "Pics" on drive D: with "file.jpg" in it, the folder appears on both drives E: and D: but only drive D: has "file.jpg". Is there a way to eliminate the duplicate empty folder on drive E:?

Yes it's normal.
It won't create it on all drives, but usually goes like this (my assumption, as I did not write the software!):
- create folder on first drive
- try to create the file
- if no room left, go to second drive

and so on until there is enough room (considering the reserved space) to create the file.

You can do your own clean-up on empty folders, but you need to stop the storage pool first.
