Moving from unraid to WHS + Flexraid

Hi,

I'm currently using unraid and would like to migrate to windows + flexraid. I have a couple of questions before doing so.

1) For migration, the plan is to buy a  new hard drive, format it with ntfs, move my unraid data to it (at least one drive's worth ).
So now I would have one NTFS drive and one "empty" reiserFS that I can format to NTFS and migrate more data.

Is this a good way to go?
It probably will take a while, but, I don't mind.
Are there other solutions?

And yes, I am set on switching to Windows instead of Ubuntu or any other linux variants.

2) Is it possible to add PPU's after the initial pool creation?
I wanted to start with 0 PPU, and then add the PPu later.

1 - Since you're going to create your parity at the end anyway, why not wait til all the drives are filled and then create the array (with PPU(s)) in one step?
