Parity drive question
« on: November 03, 2011, 02:05:29 pm »
Hi guys,

I've set up Flexraid with 1 x 2TB Parity drive and 3 x 2TB DRU's. 2 of the DRU's are nearly full with the 3rd having no data at all. My Parity Drive is showing only 168GB of space left available. Does this sound right to you? As i will soon start adding data to my last DRU.....

I'm using WIN 7 64 bit version and Flexraid x

Thanks for your help.

M

Yes of course it sounds right.

You probably confuse parity with some kind of compression or something. It isn't.

Thanks NLS

So i can just carry on as normal filling up my last 2TB drive even though Parity only has circa 150GB free?
