MyMovies Music Copier failure
« on: May 15, 2013, 07:31:50 pm »
Hi

I am using the MyMovies add-in on WHS2011. Movie copying works fine, however, music copying is failing with:
There was an error applying ID3 data to file '1', 'Access to the path is denied. at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)

I am using a snapshot raid that updates daily, so shouldn't be a timing issue.

MyMovies forum indicates that it is a Flexraid problem not a MyMovies problem:

Any suggestions as to what it could be and where to start looking?

Regards
Neil

Thanks for the reply. Is this the thread I linked to in the original post? If so, they are saying it is a Flexraid problem.

As you seem to be a systems builder, I gather you get this problem consistently with the MyMovies software?

Hi,
I am also using mymovies and flexraid, and have The same Problem. It you tell me how, I could generate debug logs for you.
Please help me.
I have also  problems with virtual drive from slysoft. Every iso which I try to mount from the flexraid drive crashes the system complete (blue screen) on Windows 8. I have to migrate to demon tools.
I currently only use flexraid without parity to merge 4 drives together.
Thank you

I have had a couple different programs unable to write to drive.  Setting the filesystem as "NTFS" fixed it though.
