only using the pool and after about 4 reboots have found no problems.

My FR auto start is set to 15000 I think.

@m0t0k0
Excellent :)
I'm using Realtime Raid aswell, which is why I'm running into errors :)

@Brahim
After having left my server on, with the pool up, I believe a backup job started and crashed the pool. Also now, after a reboot pool is not starting with:
Code: [Select]

Is this known to you or will you need full logs ?

Again, if you ran a recon while the pool is up, it likely screwed up things.
I have fixed that issue for the next build.

If you took a good backup of your filesystem databases, please, stop the pool and then run recon. If not, I am afraid, you will have to recreate the RAID (but do take a backup this time).
These errors are the tell tell sign that recon was ran while the pool was up.

In the next build, backups will be automatically taken under certain scenarios too.
I am also going to fix the UI so that it properly display the state of the pool when auto-start is used (all in the next release).

The pool was up when I ran Reconcile but I'm fairly sure FlexRAID prompted me and said it would stop it automatically, if that routine however doesn't function properly that most likely is the reason yes :)

Recreate is not a big deal, haven't included most of my data disks at this time so it will be brief. Do I need to delete current db also or just running the recreate task?

Just go to the Toolbox and hit "re-create".

Do I still need:

Code: [Select]
sc config storageservice start= delayed-auto
My Dashboard is not showing pool shares. The strange thing is that it was showing before. I changed user permissions in flexraid share management and now dashboars does not show the shares anymore after rebooting.

Delay is set to 15000.

By the way, I don´t how it works but the delay makes no sense to me. Shouldn´t the pool be the first thing to start so dashboard can see the pool? By delaying the start of the pool, am I not letting the dashboard start first???

I found out why it was not showing. Whenever I add othermachine\user to the share users the whole share disappears.

Now, I have a few questions about sharing but I'll create another topic.

Fairly sure Brahim implemented this to be set to delayed start by default, otherwise it's quite easy to check :)

It's not the pool you're delaying, it's a windows service.

I applied the delay to the WHS service as suggested... This was the only change I did, I did not create any shares in the FlexRaid control panel.

I can confirm that just this does not work and the shares still vanish on reboot.

Same here,

I've set startup delay at 1000 and I've pointed the dashboard to the correct location.
After creating the shares I've also added them in the flexraid shares interface.

After every reboot the shares are not there anymore and the status is missing.
Simply pointing them to the correct location fixes it.

Anyone who got it to work after the reboot?
