I am holding off... ...My intention is to have a big release with all the changes sometime in early Spring.

Any update on this?  That post suggested early Spring 2013 - it's now a full two years later...

I am holding off all enhancement for the next big release, which will include a new driver and a re-architecture.
Basically, I am redesigning FlexRAID so that multiple processes can be created. Each process will then be able to host one or more configuration.
This will provide isolation so that if a process goes down it does not affect other processes.
Running multiple pools under a single service process is not good and this is why I held off enabling multiple pools.

My intention is to have a big release with all the changes sometime in early Spring.

Is this out yet?

I'm on 2.1 dated 2015.11.01, is it possible in this release?  I'd like to have a 2nd configuration with a pool only, not protection.

The support here is quite bad.
Since years your are giving the same answer. Still no second storage pool is possible.

I'll look for an alternative.
