Manually run a scheduled tasks
« on: November 25, 2013, 05:14:48 pm »
I have planned a scheduled task to "Verify Sync" 100GB per day.
But assuming that one day, I want to check more data, it would be convenient to be able to force the scheduled task to run once (or several times) more.

I know I could run manually a Verify Sync on a range via the "Advanced Operations", but the purpose of re-running the scheduled is to "progress" further in the total amount of data processed.

Just create a job that runs once. :)

Oups, I wanted to post in the "Feature Request" section instead of "Bug Reports"  :-[

So, a new scheduled task will continue to process the next chunk ?
The "current range" is shared among all tasks or only among similar tasks ? (Verify, Verify+, Verify & Sync)...

No. The range is specific to each job.

Ok, so the request is quite valid.

If at some point in the future you have time, you could add a new button next to pause, resume and abort, to run an existing scheduled task on demand... (similar to the Windows scheduled tasks actually)...
