Confused on new storage pool setup
« on: December 15, 2011, 07:18:25 pm »
I just installed the new beta version 10, and I'm confused as to why it's not working.

I added all the drives (6) to the pool in 1 spanned dRU (DRU 1).  But when I go to initialize raid, it says PPU path needs to be defined.  Why would I need a ppu path when I don't want a parity drive?  I want all drives used for space, not backups.

I guess I'm just confused how this works now from the previous version.  All I had to do in the old version was define my drives, the drive letter for storage pool, and start the pool.

Now according to the wiki, it says it will erase data (why I got rid of whs).

How can I set it up so it's like the old version?

EDIT:---->

Sorry, I just figured it out.  Disregard this post.
