Hi Brahim

I have been quite busy those two last months with many other projects but have some time now to come back on tRaid.

I can possibly help on 'french' too if you need. I did register with "vletroye"..

Notice: I got an registration email like this one:

Quote
Pour activer votre compte d'utilisateur, veuillez ouvrir ce lien :
     http://localhost:8000/accounts/activate/<some Guid>/

Code d'activation :
     <some Guid>

I had to replace manually localhost:8000 by translate.flexraid.com
Isn't it an issue with your email template ?

Valery, thanks for the notice on the template. I will look into it once I get a chance.

I have given you access to the French translation.

Nice to see you pop back. :)

Yeah... I am happy too as I was missing my File Server. I didn't turn it on since January I think...
But I have now a bunch of new movies to backup on that server and tRaid will be under stress again those coming days :)
First step: upgrade tRaid  8)

I got a lot of toys for Christmas: a new HTPC (Intel NUC), a new NAS (Syno DS 713+), a new business project at work, some holidays at Ski, the replacement of Media Browser 3 with Plex on all my devices, a new "3D" gaming headset, the upgrade of my NAS to DSM 5.0 (if you know Synology)... I took me all my evenings during two months to setup (and fix) everything :D

V.

There are some terms that are reuse everywhere... Is there an easy way to find them and check that we all use the same translation ?

Ex.:
"Storage Pool" - I could suggest 'pool de stockage'
"OS caching" - I should install a french Windows at home to see what's the name used for that.. I think it's simply 'cache d'écriture Windows'
"Array" - It should be 'matrice'
UoR - UdR (Unité de risque ???)
PPU - ...
DRU - ...

But actually, I notice that in Belgium we mainly use the english terms in IT. We don't translate them as made in France.
'A browser' in fr/be is 'un browser', while it's seems to be a 'navigateur' in fr/fr (I also eared once that 'un butineur' was suggested in France)
'An email'  in fr/be is 'un email', while it can be a 'courriel' in in fr/fr

So, I would need/create a glossary with the recommended/agreed translation for all those terms... Possibly in a post here after ?

I see. Do you think we should create a fr-BE locale?

I would hate to see that happen as that would mean more required translators.
I think translate as you see fit and let someone who disagree to make his recommendations.

No, no need at all for a fr/be !!

As you suggest, I will let others review my suggestions...
