FlexRaid on Amahi?
« on: August 08, 2014, 04:02:50 pm »
I'm considering moving from Windows Home Server 2011 to Amahi. I don't think I'll move unless I can take FlexRaid with me!
So, a couple questions:
Is there a problem with using Flexraid on Amahi 7 instead of Greyhole? There's just a wiki article on the amahi wiki... Not much help... Does FR work on Amahi -- GUI and all? Does it auto-start and is it 'set and forget' like my FR setup in WHS2011?
If I move from WHS to Amahi, what's the recommended path? (I figured I'd just copy all files from pool to a couple drives, install Amahi, install FR, copy files over to FR pool, then add those drives back into the pool)

Thanks for any help that might point me one way or another,

No reason as to why it wouldn't work.
So, give it a trial and post your feedback on that worked out for you.

Amahi is a great platform. I wanted to provide tighter integration for it and including being on their app store, but time is not permitting this right now.
