Validate finds corrupted files every time
« on: February 01, 2012, 06:32:17 pm »
I have created and recreated the PPU several times and it always has corrupted .flxr files after a validate.

Debian squeeze. Tried both Cruise control and expert mode, same effect.

Have you deleted the partition and reformatted before recreating the PPU?

If so and it still has this problem then I expect the disk integrity is suspect.

I deleted the partition and recreated it formatted to ext4

re-created the parity
validated the parity  90+ flxr files corrupted

I removed the suspect disk and replaced with another.

I deleted the existing partition and recreated it formatted to ext4

re-created the parity
validated the parity  90+ flxr files corrupted

I doubt both disks are faulty. SMART reports also appear to be good.

Any other suggestions?

Thx

What do you get if you run Verify?
