RAID-F - Restricted Volumes Not Pooling
« on: July 15, 2016, 03:17:00 am »
Long time Flexraid user pretty happy. I'd like to run a bunch of restricted drives into my pool so no new data is written to them. But when I place them under the restricted section they refuse to show up in the pool.

Works fine when placed under unique volumes.

Anyone else getting this?

Thanks,

Indeed, you have to define them in both places.
All unique volumes must be defined, and then you can specify which ones of those unique volumes are restricted.

Oh! I just remembered I posted this exact issue years ago which you responded to then. Sorry and thanks :-)

Might be worth updating the Wiki in regards to that?
