Flexraid development
« on: June 03, 2015, 02:55:37 pm »
I have installed the latest FlexRaid Version (Raid over Filesystem) on my 2008 R2 server. My filer is approx. 4 years old and I'm planning at the end of 2015 the installation with the newest Windows Server 2016. The latest FlexRaid is from 2014-08-16, alsmost a year. So will it supported for next development or end this project already?

RAID-F is being redesigned. In other words, the project is very much active.

thank you for the answer. When do you think it will be released in the redesignet version?

Otherwise I will read the hole comparison and advantages between tRaid and Raid-F. My english is not yet perfect, so I need a little bit more time to read and understand the blog entries.
tRaid I will test a long time to understand all functions.

Raid F is getting a redesign, but are those of us on traid going to be seeing any further updates or has the software reached EOL?  No updates in 3/4 of a year and no forum post leads me to feel that we've been let go of as customers.  Do we even know if traid will deploy on Windows 10 with out error?
