Move files from one drive to another?
« on: July 29, 2017, 02:02:40 pm »
Hello All!
I have a situation where I have some drives on a PCI controller and others on a PCIe controller.
Considering I run a lot of data over gigabit, the drives on the PCI controller just can't keep up.
I'm wondering if I could move archival-type files (those not frequently accessed) over to the slower drives to free up faster storage for transfers.
I assume I could shut the storage pool down, move the files where I want them, start the storage pool, and then perform an update.
Any thoughts?

Nevermind...I just physically moved the drives around to get closer to what I need.
However, It would be nice if I could do this on a file/folder specific basis.
