Meta Data Size for snapshot RAID
« on: January 26, 2018, 07:01:23 am »
I had a snapshot raid configuration set up for a while and I had about 3.6TB used. I had to delete that configuration and start a new configuration to make drive swapping easier. I removed 2 drives from the array but both were small (80gb and 160gb) and empty. My new configuration is showing 2.7TB used. I can't seem to see any missing data yet. Is that extra space because I am in a fresh configuration and haven't built up the meta data related to the configuration?

Those seemingly empty drives might have data in hidden folder. So, enable the viewing of hidden and system folders on those disks and explore for data that might be there.
