Single drive missing from Drive Manager
« on: February 19, 2018, 11:58:34 pm »
i just installed RAID-F in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and it seems to work, sort of.
All my 5 of my six drives show up just fine, however the last one is missing... The five ones that show have existing data on them (they come out of a diffrent machine), the last one however is empty and suppoesed to be my parity, its also the only one formated on this system.

Owner of all the drives that do show up is root, however the group "users" also has both read and write permission.
The missing one has diffrent permissions (owner is my user, and there is no "users" group to selevt in dropdown menu...

How do i set the permissions in a way FlexRaid can work with all drives?

Would it be smarter to not have root be the owner of my drives?
