Can anything at all be salvaged with ONLY parity data from DRUs?
« on: February 21, 2018, 08:57:55 pm »
So I have an old Flexraid array that has a number of lost drives, surely too many to recover my array from.

However I do have 8TB of healthy parity data (2x4TB DRU's).

Can I get any real file data out of the parity, or just format them?

Thanks!

You should be able to access the data on all the drives except the one that is bad, from what I understand.

Yes I'm able to access all the good drives, but I also have 8TB of .FLXR files on my parity drives. Wondering if that's all garbage data now or if it can be used to get anything back.
