Swapping out two drives at the same time.
« on: February 24, 2018, 11:10:09 am »
I saw some old posts from 2013/4 on how to swap out a non failed drive.

I would like to swap out two 1tb drives that haven't failed for two 4tb drives. One of the 4 tb drives will also have to become the parity drive as my current largest drive is only 3tb.

Any help on how to go about this would be very helpful.

Anyone? I'm guessing I just remove all drives from the pool and add them back in one at a time?

It will be best to delete the current configuration, regain control of all your disks, create a new configuration with your new desired layout, and compute parity anew.
