Works fine here on Windows 2012 Server R2 Standard.

After uninstalling the old and installing the new version I had to reenter my purchase code
and everything went smooth from there. I'm only using the storage pool function.

Initial impressions are great!
I had issues with low speed from the pool with older versions, but now they seem up to par with the underlying disks performance.
Also navigatiing and doing heavy fileaccessing seems more smooth and snappier here.

I installed Windows 10, then Raid-F 2.1, registered with the purchase code and rebuild my array.

Everything seems to works fine except that the storage Pool doesn't autostart after windows booting.

I check the option in the Storage Preferences to autostart, but when i restart the option is not checked!

Furthermore when i restart the PC and starting the pool manually , i m getting message " License Exception:  Is the future you are trying to  use licensed??""

then, i reset the activation, enter again the purchase code and i can enable the Pool.

I have been using FlexRaid since its early days and would now like to make the transition to Windows 10.
Brahim, would you say testing the new pre-release version puts the data at risk or is it more an issue of this version possibly not running as smoothly as a release version?

Cheers,
Jonas

It is not beta, but an early build of a production release. ;)

The disclaimer above is only to say that if you have a stable running production system which you cannot afford to have down due to unforeseen compatibility issues, it is safer to wait for more user validation. Otherwise, feel free to deploy.

So, it is a very safe and well internally tested release build.

So no risk to your data even though there were lots of internal changes.
The biggest risk was configuration parameter incompatibility. However, from early reports it appear that all was properly handled.
The challenge with this release was to bring massive changes without requiring users to reconfigure things or rebuild parity.

Please make sure to save when making configuration changes.
If saving isn't sticking, then a look at your system might be necessary.

I have moved one of my systems over to windows 10 due to a forced reinstall issue for other things i had issues with. Now I am not able to activate the new product for testing with my purchase code. I have sent you  pm already with my information needed.

Ok, FlexRaid 2.1 seemed to install fine. When I try to import an existing configuration, however, I get this:

Suhweet!

Had to reactivate, as everyone else has noted, but seems to be working since then. I can connect to my drive pools from other workstations on the network. Also, as a bonus to those of us who had using Windows 8, the thumb nails for my media are now working on my Windows 10 machine!

I'll report back if I see any issues.

Hello. Of course  I'm saving the option.

Even more I'm saving the option to autostart, I close Web browser, i re-open it, login again and the option is un-checked.

Basically the license issue concern me more.

The good part is that the PC and the response of the build array  is a more faster in Windows 10 that Windows 8.1  :)

Also in 8.1 i had an issue I couldn't start any .exe program within the array, and now its ok.
Logged into your machine and confirmed the issue. A fix will be implemented for the next build.

Ok, FlexRaid 2.1 seemed to install fine. When I try to import an existing configuration, however, I get this:
....
Go to your PPU and delete the flxr.ser file and then re-attempt the import.
The next build will automatically handle this going forward.

I have contacted sales over my activation issue using the same exact purchase code and same exact hardware the only difference is i have reloaded my os and now they say it is node locked and wont me to pay for another license. Why should i have to pay for a license for something i already purcahsed when all i need done is have my licensed moved on SAME system to new os...

This is response i got

Hi xxxxxxx The issues stem from the fact that the system you are trying to activate needs its own license. Licenses are node locked and we charge per new system as opposed to charging for software . Please provide assistance Brahim

@shadow5555
Yeah, you need a license for that new system. The original system activated back in 2012 is not the same one being currently activated.

Go to your PPU and delete the flxr.ser file and then re-attempt the import.
I did exactly this but unfortunately it did not help. With "Cruise Control" ticked I get the "invalid file" error. With "Expert Mode" ticked I get the previous error message.

Whether you choose CC or Expert depends on what type of configuration you had previously.
If you get invalid file error with CC, then you must not have had a CC config. You cannot get the previous error if you deleted the flxr.ser file as instructed.
