Very high load average figures when running tRAID
« on: September 03, 2015, 03:31:46 am »
Hi

I'm having problems with my tRAID installation running under Mint Linux.  It all works fine, but whenever I start tRAID, I get load average figures of 108.04, 108.11, 108.14.  Clearly this can't be right, can it!?  I have no idea how to fix this as I'm by no means an expert in Linux, but I'm pretty sure this can't be right!

If I issue a top command, I don't see any process occupying more than 4% CPU load.  I am, however, slightly surprised by the large number of sleeping processes (360 out of 363 running).  I do, by the way, have an awful lot of "dead" processes with a name of "[P11-Threar0]" and "[P11-Thread0]".  These only appear if my array is running...

Can anyone help?
