Access denied error when initializing pool
« on: September 25, 2015, 09:34:57 am »
Hello everyone,  I recently had an issue with my OS and lost all permissions to access or edit anything on my pooled drive the fix involved me removing the drives from flex raid and repairing the permission settings.  I was having issues putting  the drives back into the array so I just uninstalled  everything to start fresh.  I now have full permissions on all of my drives and the PPU'S are all empty.  After I add everything to be pooled I click on initialize and I get an exception error.  When I check the log it says access denied file not found.  I'm not sure what to do to resolve this issue.  I'm using Windows 7 X64 cruise control,  snapshot raid.  I have attached my log file.  Thanks!

Sounds like you changed permissions on your PPU disk such that FlexRAID is no longer able to write to it.
That or your have an anti-virus intruding.
