Raidf over Ubuntu 15.10 and nfs
« on: October 25, 2015, 10:36:11 am »
My subdirectories under an nfs share are not shown.
Raidf is 2.1 version.
in /etc/exports:
/media/tomb/video/film      *(ro,fsid=10,no_root_squash,subtree_check,sync)
Other shares outside the array are working well. What could be wrong?
(before i upgraded ubuntu everything works as expected)

Not really sure I personally follow.
Maybe screenshot will help illustrate your issues?

My array is in this path: /media/tomb
Inside the array there are several subdirectories. For example: /media/tomb/video/movie and /media/tomb/video/cartoon
(all media files in separate folders for example :/media/tomb/video/movie/Tomorrowland/)
i'd like to share these with nfs server. I created a share(/media/tomb/video/movie) but /media/tomb/video/Tomorowland/ directory not visible but /media/tomb/video/movie/anything.mkv is visible.
All the subdirectories within /media/video/movie/ are not visible and files are visible.

I take it you checked the permissions on the sub-directories. Correct?

yes, i think the permissions are good. if i move out a sub-directory outside from the array and make a new share it works.

It is not whether you think they are good or not. Explicitly verify them. What matters is the effective permission on those folder while they are part of the pool.

Verified the permissions many times. It worked before i upgraded Ubuntu to 15.10. (and Raidf to latest)
