How long does it typically take to receive the access code?  I ordered this morning but haven't received an email yet.

There is a bit of a manual process with order processing right now leaving me to do things in batches.
I will automate the process a bit later after the Linux release is out.

The next batch of orders has been processed. Thanks the purchase and support.

Will the license be valid for Windows and Linux?
Or is it Windows OR Linux?

For example: If I have windows server now, and register the license then it is registered to my system.

But if I want to install Linux om my server instead of Windows (say somewhere in the next months).
Will it be possible to use the same license for the Linux server (since it is the same machine and the Windows license won't be active anymore).

Cheers and keep up the good work.

Will the Raid-F + Pooling option also include real-time raid when that is stable? I bought it either way, but I'm sure hoping it will :)

Brahim,

I've received my key and activated the final build. However it seems that I may need to reinstall the OS today or tomorrow (finally got an SSD drive for the OS!). Will I be able to re-use my key or is there some special procedure I need to follow (eg. contact you)?

When exactly does Beta14 stop working?  Does it work through to midnight on the 21st and expire at 12AM on the 22nd?  I purchased yesterday, but haven't received a code yet.  Which is fine, I'm in no hurry, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't caught off-guard.

There is nothing you need to do if you are going to be using the same configuration DB as a copy of your activation key is saved there.
If you will be using a new configuration DB, simply copy your activation key at the root of where you have FlexRAID installed.
In both cases, no re-activation will be required.
A copy of your activation key was sent to you by email by the way.

Still, you can re-activate automatically online if you wish (if you lost all copies of you activation key).
Just like FlexRAID, everything is flexible. :)

Don't quote me on it, but I think that build will expire closer to month end (I could be wrong).
So, play with your clock to see. :)

Yes, received the activation key and stored that. And yes, will be using the same configuration DB since it's going to be the same box, but fresh OS. Good to know that all I need is just to reuse 'FlexRAID-Config.db'. And good job on making this so easy!

Thanks man!

You should have received your key yesterday.
Check your spam box and PM me with you e-mail if you did not get it somehow.

I bought the combined raid and pooling pack. Received the puchase code and installed. All is well.

I have later received another mail with the Registration key.

What's the purpose of this registration key? Is it needed somewhere or should I install it somewhere?
Essentially what's the difference between purchase code and registration key and what's the purpose of both?

Take a look at Brahim's response to my question http://forum.flexraid.com/index.php/topic,535.msg4686.html#msg4686. Gives a bit of idea about the differences.
