I suspect you have to fill "change password" fields first time? (which seems to also change user... Brahim you need some cleanup here)

I would try empty old user and old password and in new fields put what I want.
Just guessing.

Nope still doesnt work

What am i doing wrong?

You are not saying what you are trying to do.
Did you set a login before?
That section is to disable the login page and it requires your current login as a security measure.

Purchased the $49.95 version of FlexRaid yesterday and have received my key.

Uninstalled Beta 14 which was working fine, reinstalled 2.0 final. Get the following error when I open the web interface

com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.StatusCodeException

500 The call failed on the server; see server log for details

Checked the log file and find this at the end:

old username: empty
username: myNewUserName
old password: empty
password: myNewPassword
verify: myNewPassword

Enable/Disable Login Page:

password: myNewPassword

yeah that worked. Now im trying to change the password and it gives me the same error. I hope this setting is just a rushed version or something because not very efficient atm.

Edit: Ok got the change password working. I think the problem is that there is a minimum of 8 characters...Brahim can you confirm this?

One more thing, it is possible to access FR outside of my network. I added a port forward in my router but it doesnt seem to work

Indeed, the password must be between 8 and 56 characters.
There is a bug in the UI where the returned message is not being displayed and only the generic "Invalid login" is.  :-[
Fixed for the next build.

Also, you don't need to fill the bottom form to change the password (note the separate save buttons ;) ).

Thanks for the response :) And what about my network question? Are there any other settings in the port.js file to change besides the port number?

Sure, you can have FlexRAID accessible over net (enabling and using https is recommended) or whatnot. That's the whole point of the web based interface.
Yes, you can change the port number by editing the Port.js file.
Not sure about your network routing issues. Post the detail and maybe someone will help you.

I think the config file name has changed I had to change it in  "Ports.js" now it has an "s"  (oppose to Port.js)

Hey Brahim, thanks ... and .. waiting on my key so I can begin..

What happens if my media server boxes are NOT connected to the internet? How is the activation going to work and be handled?

Hello, I've activate my license.

One question, what files I need to backup (to keep my license) if I need to re-installe my computer?

FlexRAID.key.txt
or
flexraid.keystore
or both files??

thank you...
