@Didca
The request was for you to delete your configuration database (no just your RAID configuration).
Basically, you will need to start with a fresh new database.

If you don't want to re-create the parity after you have started with a fresh new DB, you can import your RAID configuration, re-instate your drives, and choose to initialize using the existing parity (see the first point of this topic).

Sorry for a stupid question,  What do you mean to delete the configuration database?  How I can do it, or do you mean I have to reinstall the package?

Dear Frason,

Further to my previous post, I find the FlexRAID-config.db (DB) information on this forum and had done followings:

CASE 1
1/ Deleted the DB;
2/ Start FlexRAID on root, by issuing ./FlexRAID
3/ Reset license activation by fill in purchase code and sudo password;
4/ Created a new Real time config
5/ Started the storage pool successfully
6/ shutdown FlexRAID by issuing Ctrl-C
7/ Got Jet runtime exception in the terminal
8/ Restarted by ./FlexRAID
9/ Tried to start storage pool and got license exception again.

CASE 2
1/ Deleted the DB;
2/ Start FlexRAID on root, by issuing ./FlexRAID
3/ Reset license activation by fill in purchase code and sudo password;
4/ Reset the sudo password in the toolbox
5/ Restart FlexRAID
6/ Created a new Real time config
7/ Started the storage pool and got license exception.

Can you correct me on the above steps?

Thank you

Hi Didca,
Sorry I can't. I moved to Windows as the performance was terribly bad in Linux, 10-40MB/s on parity calculation, and 90-100MB/s in Windows for the same.

So I didn't get the issue resolved unfortunately.

Thank you Frason, I don't want to give up for the moment as I have other application running on Linux.  How about Brahim, do u have an official answer?

I would need to see your installation.
Please install teamviewer and let's have a remote session. PM me the connection info.

Also, as per the DOs and DON'Ts on the wiki, you should stop the pool from the UI before killing the service when using RT RAID.
