General Discussion / Best shceduled jobs configuration for tRaid
« on: August 14, 2017, 12:12:16 pm »
Just switched to windows 10 and traid for my server. What is best configuration for scheduled jobs?

Real-Time RAID / drivepool with traid on windows 10
« on: August 11, 2017, 08:15:03 pm »

So switched to windows 10 server and trying out transparent raid instead of snapshot raid. Transferred all files into drivepool storagepool. Moved drives to server and did windows 10 install. Everything seemed fine until I started old whs OS up and drivepool tried taking ownership again of drives. Now going back to traid I am showing hidden files totaling all the data but they are hidden. I have found their are PoolPart folders on each drive with all my media but they are hidden. No idea what to do at this point. Would hate to restart as I migrated 14TB of data to new drives.

RAID-F Feature Requests / Real time status webui
« on: January 30, 2015, 08:52:24 am »
I am constantly logging in to server to see if tasks are running or not and there is no way to see status unless you run a manual feature. Would like there to be a status bar in webui to see what task is running and maybe a percentage completed

Bump. Can administrator comment. Id love to have this feature added.

I have snapshot raid and I have it set up to run update 3x a week and Validate 1x a month. I am troubleshooting why server isnt going to sleep anymore (whs 2011) with lightsout and I want a quick way to be able to see if flexraid is currently running an update or validate. It seems I can only tell when manually running through web interface.

I have been running flexraid snapshot for awhile with no problems. I have it set up to update every morning at 1am and to validate once a month. I can't figure out a way to tell if anything is actually being done or not?
Is there a quick way to see a schedule of what processes have been done in the past?

Snapshot RAID / Adding new DRU and PPU does not resize correctly?
« on: December 02, 2012, 01:11:43 pm »
I had 2 x 3TB drives as DRU's and 1 x 3TB as PPU. I needed more space so I added another 3TB DRU. Drivepool rebalanced my drives so they are 74%, 71%, and 55%. However when I update the PPU Drive is still showing up as 97% full like it was before I added the new DRU. Everything works and update works as it should with no errors but I was just wondering if this is cosmetic issue to not resize back down to 74% or what is going on? Anything to worry about and do I need to recreate SnapShot raid?
